VBA and Macro Development

Excel and all Office product include a macro language called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). The macro recorders allow you to record steps and in the process, Office writes the VBA code for those steps. The macro recorder is just the tip of the ice berg.

With macros we can create automated solutions to help reduce man hours, validate user tasks and link your office application and other 3rd party products.

Some of the things you can achieve with VBA include:

Form creation, customising toolbars, automation of common tasks, linking to other products and database, web based data retrieval, creation of charts/pivot tables, sorting and manipulating data and user validation.
